Description:Business Development Manager (Protection) / BDM / - Stirling, Scotland Business Development Manager (Protection) / BDM / Sales Consultant – Intermediaries Basic salary £28,000 - £33,000 Our client, an instantly recognisable brand name and market leader, sells Mortgages, Protection and General Insurance products to the Intermediary market through Key Relationships with IFA's, Mortgage Brokers, Estate Agents and Insurance Company representatives. They are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to join their successful Protection Sales team. In this role you will build and develop positive sales relationships with Intermediaries. You will identify and build business opportunities to sell protection related products with our Intermediaries. Our clients Sales Consultants maintain face-to-face contact with customers and are supported via the telephone by a devoted team of Sales Development Consultants The ideal candidate will have · Experience of working in a target driven, sales environment selling protection products · Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to develop long term relationships with customers · Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and evidence of having developed these in a face to face environment · Knowledge of Protection products is essential. Preferably this should include Mortgage Protection, Income Protection, Business Protection and Whole Life Products. · The ability to Develop and Deliver Presentations to groups of IFAs on a range of Protection related topics. · A full UK driving licence (essential)
